Duoface Calendar
Created in 1931, the iconic Reverso watch has been enriched with a new stainless steel model featuring two faces as elegant as they are contrasting. In addition to the Duoface concept offering a 2nd time zone, this timepiece equipped with Manufacture Calibre 853 displays a complete calendar. In keeping with the aesthetic codes of the first Reverso models (iconic gadroons, applied hour-markers, Dauphine hands), the grained dial on the front gives way to a new, resolutely contemporary back. On the deep blue sunray dial, the double hour-markers surrounding the minute track form an elegant decoration in which a new Night/Day disc is set. The Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar comes with two easily interchangeable bracelets with a strong vintage character. Designed by the renowned Argentinian bootmaker Casa Fagliano, the full leather and the bi-material straps recall the polo spirit of the Reverso.

DESIGN
THE SWIVELLING CALENDAR
The new Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar preserves the legendary spirit of the original 1931 Reverso whilst incorporating the contemporary aesthetic cues of today. The recto dial offers a classic display of the calendar unlike the verso which is resolutely contemporary.
1931 SPIRIT ON THE WRIST
On the recto, the codes of the 1931 Reverso remain unchanged: gadroons, applied indexes, dauphine hand… On this understated timepiece, the alternating surface finishes, such as polished hands and indexes set against a grained dial, ensure that all indications remain readable at a glance.
CONTEMPORARY ART DECO
The verso dial enjoys a completely refreshed look characterised by the new hour markers, now set along the exterior periphery of the chemin-de-fer minuterie. Ultimate touch of refinement, the day-night indication is now set behind the hour-and-minute counter, revealing essential information about the second time-zone.

Evoking the fast-paced exclusive world of polo, the Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar is paired with two straps designed by Casa Fagliano. Thanks to its interchangeable straps and buckle, wearers are easily able to switch between a full calf or bi-material strap adding even more style on the wrist.
FUNCTIONS
TURNING THE CALENDAR TO NEW HORIZONS
The Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar reinterprets two signature Jaeger-LeCoultre complications — the triple calendar and the Duoface. The first takes prime position on the recto and consists in day, date and month indications paired with the phases of the moon, whereas the verso displays a second timezone.
CALIBRE
A RECTANGULAR HEART
The manually wound calibre 853 that drives the Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar is the epitome of the spirit of fine watchmaking at Jaeger-LeCoultre. Entirely designed, produced and assembled in-house, calibre 853 is an uncommon rectangular movement allowing it to fit in the Reverso case.
HERITAGE
WHEN WATCHMAKING BECAME RECTANGULAR
Created in 1931, Reverso has remained eternally modern. In 1991, coincided with the rebirth of mechanical watchmaking, the Reverso embraced its potential. It became the vehicle through which the Manufacture would redevelop its expertise in high complications despite the added challenge that rectangular movements dictate an entirely different architecture from that of the round movements that had traditionally been used for complications.
