DESIGN
OUTLOOK ON THE WORLD
Quickly adopted by tastemakers from all walks of life, the Reverso soon transcended its original sporting purpose as new variations appeared: watchmaking expertise and elegance of design at the service of an international lifestyle.

A UNIQUE PATENTED GRANDE DATE
The Grande Date display epitomises Jaeger-LeCoultre understated elegance. Its harmonious presentation, achieved through the innovative use of two side-by-side discs instead of the usual stacked configuration, ensures both digits align perfectly. This subtle yet sophisticated design detail enhances the watch's overall aesthetic appeal, seamlessly integrating the complication within the iconic Reverso case.

THE INTRICATE ART OF LACQUERING ELEVATING THE WORLD TIME
The miniature world map is created using a combination of laser engraving and hand-applied lacquer. The oceans are delicately hollowed out with a laser, before lacquer is applied by hand to fill the ocean areas. This intricate process, requiring multiple polishing stages, results in a subtly three-dimensional effect, showcasing the depth and artistry of the piece. The city names are then precisely engraved directly onto the case back, completing this visually stunning and technically impressive complication.

CALIBRE
IN-HOUSE CALIBRE 834
Entirely designed, produced, decorated and assembled within the Manufacture, the manual-winding Calibre 834 combines two of the most useful complications.
Calibre
INGENIOUS WORLD TIME
The World Time complication of Calibre 834 is both easy to read and simple to set. A hidden pusher at the top of the case, accessible when the case is removed from the cradle, allows for effortless adjustment. The tactile pusher makes a sharp and crisp slide to correct the indication with a 1-hour jump.

TECHNICALLY UNDERSTATED PATENTED GRANDE DATE
For the Grande Date display, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s engineers developed and patented a new shape of the date discs. It comprises two small side-by-side discs rather than two “stacked” discs, as is normal. When the date passes single digits, a tiny hook on the units disc latches on to the other disc, turning it to create the double-digit reading. This ingenious design overcomes the challenges of integrating this complication into the Reverso's rectangular case, showcasing Jaeger-LeCoultre's commitment to both precision and aesthetic harmony.

HERITAGE
A SERIES OF EXCEPTIONAL TIMEPIECES
The Reverso Tribute Geographic reinterprets the ground-breaking Reverso Géographique of 1998. The earlier piece was one of six special Reverso developed in the space of a single decade. Starting in 1991, they were landmarks in the revival of mechanical watchmaking after the quartz crisis.
