36 mm Automatic Pink Gold Diamond Night And Day Watch

For the first time since its creation, the Rendez-Vous Dazzling watch features a sumptuous dial entirely paved with diamonds. With 590 diamonds set with two different techniques, this new Rendez-Vous expresses all the talent and expertise of the artisans of our in-house Métiers Rares atelier. The claw gem-setting of the bezel, emblematic of Dazzling, particularly highlights the grain setting of the dial. In an aperture at 6 o’clock, the Night & Day indication displays a golden moon and sun evolving on a mother-of-pearl background. Offering a power reserve of 40 hours, the Calibre 898 confirms the sophistication of this piece, which expresses an exceptional combination between haute horlogerie and high jewellery.

DESIGN

590 DIAMONDS FOR A RADIANT EXPRESSION

Introducing a fully diamond-set dial complementing the two circles of diamonds that form the Dazzling bezel. With a total of 590 diamonds (approximately 4.67 carats), the dial and case represent 58 hours of meticulous gem-setting work.

A SYMMETRIC PATTERN OF DIAMONDS

The perfect symmetry of the pattern of diamonds of the dial, created with hundreds of diamonds anchored by tiny, almost invisible gold beads, is testament to the skill and precision of the gem-setters in the Métiers Rares™ workshop.

FUNCTIONS

DAZZLING FROM DAY TO NIGHT

The Night & Day mechanism distils the 24-hour cycle of light and darkness into a captivating display on the wrist. Set on a mother-of-pearl disc, a polished golden sun alternates with a crescent moon set on a background of stars.

CALIBRE

A HAUTE HORLOGERIE HEART

A jewel powered by Calibre 898, an automatic mechanical movement that was designed, developed and produced entirely in-house. The transparent sapphire case-back reveals fine decoration and finishing in classical watchmaking style: blued screws, circular graining and Côtes de Genève and the open-worked pink gold winding rotor.

HERITAGE

A REVOLUTION WORN ON THE WRIST

The very first wristwatches were worn by women in the early 1900s and were only later adopted by men. Edmond Jaeger and Jacques-David LeCoultre quickly understood that the wristwatch would revolutionise the entire industry. They also understood how this revolution could change the entire approach to watchmaking. The drive to craft watches that were thinner, more complex and that featured elements of high jewellery and complications, was inspired by women. For women, a watch was not only to tell time, but it was an ornament, a jewel, to accompany them throughout day and night Our Rendez-Vous collection continues this proud tradition today.
