CRAFTSMANSHIP
130 HOURS OF MÉTIERS RARES™ HANDCRAFTS
Each one of the 10 pieces is a unique work of art, brilliantly decorated with different techniques: Grand Feu champlevé enamelling for the vivid colours of the flowers and leaves and snow and grain-setting for the shininess.

VIBRANT GRAND FEU CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL
Colourful arum flowers are created using the Grand Feu champlevé enamelling technique. A demanding process that begins with the hollowing-out of the metal surface to leave only the outline of each flower or leaf. The shallow troughs are then filled with powdered glass enamel that must be fired at temperatures up to 800°C. Up to 10 coats of enamel and firings are necessary, one layer at a time, to achieve the desired tonal nuances, intensity and depth of colour. The floral design wraps seamlessly around the case-sides, from the back to the bezel, covering curves and angles that add to the complexity of the artisans’ work.

100 HOURS OF GEM-SETTING FOR UNIQUENESS
The gem-setter spends hours meticulously positioning the brilliant-cut diamonds of different sizes, one by one, side by side, to completely cover the precious remaining metal, framing the flowers and foliage. The snow-setting technique has the particularity of making each watch unique adding to the rarity of the 10 pieces. A total of 637 diamonds are snow- and grain-set, requiring 100 hours of work to complete.
