THE WATCHES
PERPETUAL ADVENTURE
Lacquered in a deep gradient-blue colour, the dial of the Polaris Perpetual Calendar offers a modern look. The bold indexes and Arabic numerals coated with SLN are balanced by the complexity and fine detail of the 4 counters displaying the perpetual calendar indications.
Equipped with the Calibre 868, its intricate mechanism displays the correct date without the need of any correction until 2100.
A COMPLEX SOPHISTICATION
The 42-mm case features the key Polaris design codes and is meticulously brushed and polished for a flawless result. The four counters finished in different textures add visual richness to the lacquered dial, as the light plays across them. Moreover, the signature rotating inner bezel in opaline with touches of orange subtly reminds the sporty DNA of this new timepiece.
PERPETUAL WITH 351 COMPONENTS
The 351 components of the automatic Calibre 868 are assembled in-house to create one of watchmaking’s most sought-after complications: the Perpetual Calendar. Displaying the correct date until the year 2100, the watch remains easy to set. With only one corrector, all the calendar indications are adjusted simultaneously.
THE COLOURS OF ADVENTURE
The 42mm case features the key Polaris design codes: taut lines, fine bezels, glass-box crystals, and an eye-catching mix of brushed and polished surfaces. A transparent sapphire crystal case-back and an open-worked winding rotor reveal the fine decorative finishes on the movement. Marrying vintage aesthetics with modern standards, the Polaris Date embodies the all-terrain nature of the collection.
A SIGNATURE DIAL
The Polaris Date dial is of an impressive complexity to produce. A balanced mix of opaline, grained and sunrayed surfaces clearly defines each key dial segment, from the mobile inner bezel ring to the minute track. Finely hand-lacquered, its double-gradient dial is made with 37 layers of different varnish and lacquer to create the gradient colour and the depth of the dial.
SENSE OF PRECISION
Equipped with the high-performing Calibre 899, the Polaris date offers a 70-hour power reserve and the latest innovations of the Manufacture. The sapphire case back reveals the beautiful decorations of the movement made of 218 components: an open-worked rotor, Côtes de Genève, circular graining…

In the 1960’s, a new era was born with the launch of the Memovox Polaris, a watch housed in an unconventional large case, whose alarm function elevated the piece as an iconic diving watch. This distinctive watch was a bold statement of intent from Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmakers and the same sense of dauntless ambition and thirst for adventure continues across the Polaris collection today.
