With its ingenious calibre and recognizable red and white indicator, the Powermatic was proudly advertised at the time of its launch as the first automatic watch that integrated a power reserve complication. The Powermatic quickly became the Manufacture’s flagship in the early 1950s.
The Powermatic represented a new innovation in a post war era, showcasing the importance of la Grande Maison in the technical advancements of the watchmaking world.
