EXCELLENCE IN PRODUCTION

In 1833, Antoine LeCoultre established his first watchmaking workshop in the Vallée de Joux. Soon after its founding, Jaeger-LeCoultre became the first official watch Manufacture bringing all of the watchmaking crafts together under one roof. Excellence in quality was the central value on which Antoine LeCoultre established his atelier to produce pinions, his inventions radically transformed watchmaking by enabling miniaturisation and series production, laying the foundations of the modern watchmaking industry. To achieve the utmost quality, Antoine LeCoultre invented specialized tools to create, manufacture and measure pinions and other watch components to a degree of accuracy unprecedented at the time.

LA GRANDE MAISON
