As the moon guides us through this season of unity, it creates the perfect occasion to reflect on the rhythm of time and the way it shapes our lives. Celebrate the spirit of this sacred times with our masterful watches, each a testament to the artistry of time. This year, our Maison commissioned Khalid Shafar, an Emirati designer, to create a unique art installation paying tribute to the moon’s cycle.
THE WATCHES
DUOMETRE QUANTIEME LUNAIRE: MOON’S PRECISION
The Calibre 381 embodies the Duometre concept, employing separate gear trains for timekeeping and complication. This intricate movement showcases a moon-phase display, two power reserve indicators, and a captivating seconde foudroyante that spins continuously.
RENDEZ-VOUS MOON: MOON’S EMBRACE
Symbol of feminine grace, the Rendez-Vous Moon displays a silvered guilloché dial and moon complication that cycles through the lunar phases on a starry sky backdrop. The textured effect of the guilloché dial showcases floral numbers, marking the passing of time.

CRESCENT TO CRESCENT
Introducing Khalid Shafar, an Emirati designer, who brings his creative talent to Jaeger-LeCoultre's Made of Makers programme by crafting a unique art installation for our Maison. Inspired by the sacred rhythms of Ramadan, `Crescent to Crescent’ is an installation that celebrates the beauty of lunar cycle. Each of the 29 moons embodies our journey, highlighting time and transformation.
KHALID SHAFAR: THE NARRATIVE DESIGNER
Known for his fusion of Emirati culture and contemporary design elements, Khalid Shafar has a unique portfolio spanning furniture and intricate objects. The designer's creations transcend mere aesthetics, embodying a profound connection between form and function. His work, characterised by both aesthetic allure and practicality, serves as a dynamic testament to the evolving design landscape of Dubai and the broader Middle East.
