THE COLLECTIBLES
Reverso Central Seconds
At a time when white and silver dials are the norm in the watch industry, LeCoultre & Cie is one of the few Maisons to offer colored dials, reinforcing the resolutely modern character of the Reverso. The Spécialités Horlogères catalog of the time describes the black dial, with its exceptional legibility, as the dial of the future.
Equipped with a 437 caliber with manual winding, this Reverso has a central second. It also features a new black calfskin strap.
HERITAGE
A CLASSIC OF ART DECO DESIGN
In full bloom during the 1920s, the Art Deco movement reshaped the world thanks to its cardinal principle: “form must follow function”. While its reversible rectangular case and dial design exalt a simple geometry, playing with curves and straight lines, the principle was taken a step further as even the movements powering the Reverso are rectangular so as to make full use of the available space.
