Memovox Polaris
With its generous size, substantial water resistance and excellent legibility, the Memovox Polaris is a remarkable watch perfectly representative of an era rich in adventure and discovery. Thanks to its black dial and large luminescent indexes, its three crowns, and its resonance case-back, the watch was purposefully designed as the best possible diving companion. Both its technical characteristics and design made it the icon it is today.
Equipped with the automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 825 with alarm function and date display, the watch is fitted on a new black calfskin leather strap.

THE DIVING ALARM
The Memovox Polaris was an exceptionally large watch for the 1960s, measuring 42 mm, and benefitted from a remarkable water resistance, to a depth of 200 metres. The watch was fitted with a patented Compressor case: a spring-loaded compression system ensured such water resistance thanks to a flat rubber gasket maintained under permanent tension. This system was particularly useful as it meant that the further down the diver went (and the water pressure increased), the more resistant the case became.
