Memovox Speed Beat GT
Launched in 1972 and produced that year only, the Memovox Speed Beat GT owes its name to the size of its oval case and the high frequency of its movement. GT, standing for Grande Taille, refers to the resolutely large dimensions of the case, while Speed Beat poetically alludes to the rapid beating of the watch's heart. For the man who lives a busy and fast-paced life, as stated in a 1970s ad, the Memovox Speed Beat GT is the perfect companion.
Equipped with the high-frequency Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 916 with date display, the watch features a stainless steel bracelet as well as a new blue calfskin strap.
HERITAGE
FOR THE MAN OF ACTION
With its large pebble-shaped case, the Memovox Speed Beat GT had an avant-garde design for its time. Playing with shapes, the thin round bezel is housed in an oval case and offers a contrasting effect, mixing brushed and mirror polished finishes. With its rounded lines, integrated lugs and distinctive dial, the Memovox Speed Beat GT pushes the boundaries of creativity.
