DESIGN
A CONFIDENT DESIGN
The 42mm case features the key Polaris design codes: taut lines, fine bezels, glass-box crystals, and an eye-catching mix of brushed and polished surfaces. A transparent sapphire crystal case-back and an open-worked winding rotor reveal the fine decorative finishes on the movement.
35 LAYERS OF LACQUER FOR A UNIQUE FINISH
The Polaris Date dial is of an impressive complexity to produce: the dial is first decorated with a grained and sunray finish, then 35 layers of different lacquers are applied to create the gradient colour and the depth of the dial. Finally, the dial is meticulously polished for a flawless result.

READABLE AT ALL TIMES
The signature gradient ocean grey lacquered dial allows the Polaris Date to prioritise legibility without the slightest compromise in aesthetics. A balanced mix of opaline, grained and sunrayed surfaces clearly defines each key dial segment. Coated with Super-LumiNova®, the bold white indexes and Arabic numerals stand out with perfect clarity, during the day and at night.

STRAPS
A STRAP FOR EVERY ADVENTURE
The Polaris Date comes with a black rubber strap that is equipped with a quick-change system and an interchangeable folding buckle. Within seconds, the strap can easily be swapped with a wide range of bracelet and straps.

FUNCTIONS
PURE RELIABILITY
Like the 1968 Memovox Polaris that inspired the collection, the Polaris Date features a rotating inner bezel, controlled by the crown at the 2 o’clock, allowing the wearer to measure timing offsets or countdowns. This useful function is completed by the date display at 3 o'clock.
The Polaris Date features a transparent case-back, while being water resistant to 200m, making it equally at home in an urban cityscape or the pelagic depths of the ocean.

CALIBRE
AN ATHLETIC SOUL
The Polaris Date is equipped with the high-performing Calibre 899 offering a 70-hour power reserve and the latest innovations of the Manufacture. Featuring a sapphire case-back, this window reveals the beautiful decorations of the movement: an open-worked rotor, Côtes de Genève, circular graining…

HERITAGE
A SPORTING HERITAGE BORN IN THE 1960S
In 1968, a new era was born with the launch of the Memovox Polaris, a watch housed in an unconventional large case, whose alarm function elevated the piece as an iconic diving watch. This distinctive watch was a bold statement of intent from Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmakers and the same sense of dauntless ambition and thirst for adventure continues across the Polaris collection today.
