29 mm Steel Diamond Date Watch
Its supple steel bracelet lends the Rendez-Vous Date a contemporary look. True to the codes of the signature collection, the quartz timepiece delivers its functions in an elegant and refined setting. On its silvered dial with a sunrayed guilloché finish, the blued-steel floral hands stand out, as does the minute track with its transferred dots underlining the hour numerals. In an aperture at 6 o'clock, the date complication appears in floral typography, emblematic of the collection, with even numbers discreetly indicated by a small dot. The bezel set with 60 diamonds (0.42 carats) adds the final touch of sophistication to this feminine watch.

Overview

Contemporary elegance

Flawlessly sophisticated in either 29mm or 34mm, it features an elegant silhouette and open sapphire case back that showcases the movements of its automatic calibre entirely developed, crafted and assembled in our workshop in the Vallee de Joux. Featuring a night and day or moon-phase indicator, the floral hour numerals and hands take an elongated contemporary shape for a gracefully modern look. The hand-guilloché décor and mother-of-pearl finish associated to diamonds reflect the finest Haute Horlogerie traditions.

Heritage

A revolution worn on the wrist

The very first wristwatches were worn by women in the early 1900s and were only later adopted by men. Edmond Jaeger and Jacques-David LeCoultre quickly understood that the wristwatch would revolutionise the entire industry. They also understood how this revolution could change the entire approach to watchmaking. The drive to craft watches that were thinner, more complex and that featured elements of high jewellery and complications, was inspired by women. For women, a watch was not only to tell time, but it was an ornament, a jewel, to accompany them throughout day and night. Our Rendez-Vous luxury watch collection continues this proud tradition today.

Made in our Manufacture

From its calibre to its case, every Jaeger‑LeCoultre luxury watch is designed, manufactured and assembled under one roof, at our Manufacture in the Vallee de Joux. Our obsession with quality is renowned as every Jaeger‑LeCoultre model undergoes strict “1,000 Hour Control” testing. This unique program provides internal certification tests that far exceed official chronometry tests.

It includes movement testing before and after casing and extends throughout assembly, according to conditions that match daily wear. A quality seal is engraved on the back of every watch once it meets our strict standards.
